Brogan attended a heart screening in 2021 and, like many young athletes, had no symptoms that raised concern. That screening revealed he had Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, a condition that is one of the leading causes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in youth. 

With support from the Peyton Walker Foundation, Brogan’s family purchased an AED, giving him and his family peace of mind as he continues to safely play the game he loves, soccer.
