An AED donated by the Peyton Walker Foundation to the Harrisburg Senators, saved a life during a community event on City Island last month. Thanks to Jess, a Senators employee attending the event, she quickly acted to retrieve the AED out of the Senators’ offices. The AED provided the life-saving shock that saved John Hrinda’s life.

On Monday, October 21, we were proud to unveil a new SaveStation located outside the Senators stadium. This will provide 24/7 access to an AED for visitors on the Island. A SaveStation is a climate-controlled cabinet that protects AEDs from the elements.

Julie Walker, our president, helped cut the ribbon. She was joined by representatives from the Senators, UPMC, the Harrisburg Chamber as well as John and Jess.
